Our Boudoir Prep Guide was created to walk you through the experience before you ever step into the studio. It’s here to answer the questions you may not know how to ask, calm the nerves that naturally come with doing something brave, and help you feel confident, prepared, and excited.
Here’s something important I want you to know right away:
You do not need to change your body, your confidence level, or your experience with posing to belong here.
Most of my clients book their session feeling nervous, unsure, or even a little disconnected from their body, especially moms, busy women, and those who haven’t been photographed like this before.
And every single one leaves saying:
“I wish I had done this sooner.”
Your session isn’t about performing or being someone else. It’s about slowing down, breathing, moving gently, and allowing yourself to be seen. I’ll guide you every step of the way, from how to place your hands to where to breathe, so you never feel awkward or alone.
This guide will help you:
- Understand what your session will actually feel like
- Know how to prepare (without overwhelm)
- Choose outfits and inspiration with confidence
- Calm pre-session nerves
- Show up feeling grounded and supported

01. Arrival

- Settle in: Grab a tea, coffee, or sparkling water, and let yourself breathe. This is your time.
- Wardrobe: Lay out the outfits you brought, or pick from any special pieces we provide. We’ll mix, match, and prep each set.
